IEM season 6 to pick up iRacing.com?

The Intel Extreme Masters season 6 is most likely about to pick up a new game: The virtual racing simulation iRacing.com is making it's way to the IEM 6, besides popular games like Counter-Strike 1.6 and Quake Live.
According to the games website iRacing.com will be featured in Intel Extreme Masters season 6. In a newspost, which only registered members can see, they've announced the Intel GP series which will be held directly on the iRacing.com website as a part of the Intel Extreme Masters season 6. In the end there will be a World Final, where competitors will race each other at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover, Germany.
The Intel GP series will kick off soon, as the first round already stars on Tuesday, July 27th (to August 2nd). First round will cover the European region and will feature "20 lap races beginning at 15 minutes past the hour, every hour, in Star Mazda at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with three drop days factored into the scoring" according to iRacing.com. The series will be available to all racers who own the Star Mazda, no specific licences required.
