„Back to the roots“: From today on, former Team xXx will represent mousesports in all official events. After a few months without a German Counter-Strike team, the most successful Counter-Strike team of Germany is back with three former and two new mousesports players.
Tobias „Troubley“ Tabbert led his team to a perfect season opening, winning all five games in the ESL Pro Series to become the 1st ranked team in the EPS Winter 2012 season. Last Monday they qualified for the upcoming Electronic Sports World Cup 2012 in Paris by defeating mTw in the German qualification tournament.
Together with Troubley, also three former mousesports athletes joining the brand again: Manuel „approx“ Zeitz (CS 1.6), Dimitrios „stavros“ Smoilis and Hendrik „strux1“ Goetzendorff (both CS:S) have managed to win one ESL Pro Series title aswell as one ESL Pro Series league trophy with mousesports. Fifth member will be Johannes „nex“ Maget, who is, besides Troubley, one of the two new mousesports players.
„Counter-Strike was always a very important part of mouz“, said mousesports founder Yilmaz Ozan. „We‘re all happy to support a German CS team once again in mousesports“, he added.
Team captain Troubley is also looking forward to compete for mousesports: „That‘s unimaginable - when I‘ve played CS 1.6 I always wanted to be a part of mousesports, now I am. Mousesports is the most successful CS team in Germany and it will be our task to carry that image. It‘s an honour to wear the red jersey and represent mousesports and we‘re hoping for the best fan support possible. umpumpen da!!“
The team will head into their first official match tonight, with their ESL Pro Series matchup, where they will face Team gamed. There will be a German interview with Troubley prior to the Broadcast on 99damage.de, starting 19:30 CEST.
