Marcus "ThorZaIN" Eklöf will leave the mousesports StarCraft II division due to his ending contract not beeing renewed. The Swedish Terran player currently holds two championship titles, having won TSL3 aswell as DreamHack Open: Stockholm in his career.

ThorZaIN joined mousesports shortly before his spectacular TSL3 run, where he defeated GSL code S contender Johan "NaNiwa" Lucchesi in the Grand Final. Known as one of the most potential SC2 players back than, the Swede sadly wasn't able to post more championship winnings to his vita, while the fan expectations haven't decreased in any matter. After finishing a few tournaments on the podium, ThorZaIN was finally able to break through once again by claiming DreamHack Open: Stockholm championship over Korean Terran player Choi "Polt" Sung Hoon.

 

His contract with mousesports ended in the end of April and the following negotiations weren't satisfying enough for both parties involved with no agreement found, we're officially announcing the departure of Marcus "ThorZaIN" Eklöf as of today.
