Our revamped Dota 2 team, once again led by Visar 'twiSta' Zymberi won The Arena, a tournament hosted by e-sports entrepreneur James '2GD' Harding. In a thrilling Grand Final, mousesports shut down CLG 2-1 overall, claiming their second tourney victory in a short time.

After their Dota2Replays Brawl championship, our Dota 2 division ran into internal trouble after quite a few mediocre results. In need of a true leader, former team captain Visar "twiSta" Zymberi came back to mousesports to temporary lead the team through The Arena for DeMeNt. For the online tournament, we've also replaced the Finish duo Trixi and Rexi with the German players Kuroky and Fire. Combined with the mousesports players Weh-Sing 'SingSing' Yuen and Alaan 'SexyBamboe' Faraj, the team was able to win The Arena, a four team invitational tournament.

 

After taking an early 0-1 deficit after the first period, it was mousesports who played a commanding second map to tie the series at one each, before heading into the last map for the title. On the deciding third map it was mousesports who took an early lead, but wasn't able to use it to their advantage, with CLG fighting their way back into the game with a well placed Black Hole. After back-and-forth teamfights, mousesports slowly but surely strengthened their heroes well enough to overpower CLG in the late game.

 

Their second tournament victory nets the players a prizemoney of $1.000 in total.
