From mousesports on

Mousesports has won the APM Season 2 Finals in Krefeld, Germany. The team performed well, not dropping a single map in their second offline event of 2016, after finishing 5th at DreamHack Leipzig in January.

The mousesports Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team has been in full swing at APM Season 2 Finals, heading into a series of important events with a championship. Coming off a 4-3-0 record in the regular season, mousesports started as the overall favorite into the playoffs and didn't fail to impress the fans with a 9-0 championship run.

APM Season 2 Finals - Bracket

Especially two players managed to put up impressive numbers, as both Johannes "nex" Maget and Nikola "NiKo" Kovac provided excellent fragging abilities during the entire tournament, as they lead the HLTV.org stats for the APM Season 2 Finals in 10 out of 20 categories, including Rating, KD Diff and Headshots per Round. Timo "Spiidi" Richter who completed his second offline event since his return to mousesports, managed to claim the most Clutch Rounds Won (10), while Denis "denis" Howell netted Best Player honors in both the Assists per Round (0.21) and Support Rounds (24.4%) statistics. See HLTV.org for a detailed breakdown of all events statistics.

Great teamwork led to a great tournament and our first title in 2016. Big thanks to all the fans and also our sponsors ZOWIE e-Sports, Unikrn & Sennheiser Gaming for believing in and supporting us!
