loWel to replace oskar in CS:GO lineup

From mousesports on

We are excited to announce that the mousesports Counter-Strike: Global Offensive starting roster is set again. Effective immediately, Christian „loWel“ Garcia Antoran will join the mouz ranks as the permanent fifth player on a transfer from PENTA Sports.

The Spanish rifle expert has made a name for himself in the recent ESL Pro League season and will take over Tomas „oskar“ Stastny's spot in the line up. "The stage I am about to embark is a dream come true, as it allows me to compete in the most important tournaments - which is what I have always wanted, and in which I will do everything I can to be the best", says Antoran and continues: "I want to thank PENTA Sports and my former teammates for giving me the chance to develop in the european scene and mousesports for putting their trust in me."

The team is looking at a full schedule in the coming weeks, which made it even more important to find a solution right away. Especially with our current sixth man Johannes "nex" Maget struggling with a wrist injury and not being able to play in the upcoming weeks. "I think we found a great new player for our lineup in loWel. He is very ambitious and a hard worker - we really need stability for the challenges ahead. We are going into some of the most important months in recent history and want to prove that we are able to compete with the best", says mousesports CEO Cengiz Tüylü.

The new addition to our team will see Tomas „oskar“ Stastny move out of the starting line up. "I am sad that it didn't work out for oskar and us. Tommy is without a doubt a great player but unfortunately, he is not at a point in his life where he wants to focus on the game full time. He made it clear to us, that he wouldn't be able to play the full tournament and practice schedule in the coming month, so we had to make the change to ensure the competitiveness of our team", says Tüylü.

The new line up will have its first real test coming up with their match against fnatic in the ECS on Sunday at 15:00 CEST. On Monday 20:00 CEST we fight to secure our ESL Pro League playoff spot against Flipsid3 before heading to Atlanta to compete in the first week of ELEAGUE Season 2 later this month.
