Exciting weeks for mousesports CS:GO

From mousesports on

Busy weeks ahead for our Counter-Strike Global:Offensive division. The guys finished the bootcamp in Cologne and are ready to jump back into the action. Here is an overview on what is next for NiKo, Denis, Spiidi, Oskar and ChrisJ.

The players put in a lot of work in the past week in our practice facilities and they are happy with the results. „We worked on several maps and definitely have a deeper pool now“, says Denis „denis“ Howell and adds: „We also made big progress on our communication and were able to eliminate many individual mistakes.“ Luckily, the opportunities for the new mousesports line up to show off their honed skills are right around the corner.

First, the ESL Pro League season is about to hit its home stretch and we are in the hunt for a play off spot. During our bootcamp we managed to take both FaZe Clan and EnvyUs down 2:0, which leaves us in third place at the moment. „To reach the finals is in our own hands now. We finally managed to get a good start into the league. The next opponents are tough but i think we can beat them and go to Sao Paulo“, says Howell.

Today we meet Natus Vincere and can take the top spot in the rankings with a win. The chance for another huge step towards the finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Support the team when they enter Overpass at 7 pm CET.

On Thursday it is time to hit the airport again, when we take off to Birmingham, UK. It is the first Offline tournament of the new lineup with AWP-God Oskar. At the Gfinity CS:GO Invitational we meet Godsent, Epsilon and EnvyUs, fighting for our share of the 100.000$ prizepool. The tournament starts on Friday the 23th of September.

A short break at home and then it is time for take off once more. This time to Moscow, where we play the Adrenaline Cyber League Invitational. Four teams will battle for another 100.000$. The event will be hosted on the first weekend of October and should provide valuable offline experience for the team. Denis expects a lot going into the tournaments : „We definitely want to win the events, both in Birmingham and in Moscow.“

mousesports invited to Intel Extreme Masters

When we return from Russia, it is time for a break. Well, not really, as the season kicks into full gear. We are playing our final regular season matches in the ESL Pro League. With some qualifiers still pending, the exact schedule is not set in stone yet. But it is likely the boys will see a lot of airports in the upcoming month. ELEAGUE Season 2 in Atlanta, ESL Pro Series Finals in Sao Paulo and the Intel Extreme Masters in Oakland are on the horizon.
