IEM: Global Finals

The day has finally arrived. All the teams, the players, staff and media members have made their way to Hannover, Germany for the Extreme Masters Season IV World Championship Finals.
Twelve Counter-Strike teams, Twelve World of Warcraft teams and Twelve Quake Live players from Countries around the world are awaiting their chance to represent their Country and a chance at the prize money of $170,000. For the last year, the ESL have ran tournaments and competitions as the teams and players fought for one of the open spots in the tournament.
Our own mousesports lineup will be in Hannover for the action, representing the brand in the Counter-Strike, Quake Live and World of Warcraft games. Both our Quake players, Anton "Cooller" Singov and Magnus "fox" Olsson finished third and fifth respectively at the EU Championships. Our Counter-Strike team found the path needed and finished first overall, kicking off the new year with a bang, along with our newest addition, Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer.
The competition at the event will make this one of, if not the biggest event for 2010, with featured Counter-Strike teams such as Fnatic, SK Gaming, mTw, MYM, EG and more. Many of the big name Quake players will be in attendance for this event as well, featuring Stermy, Cooller, Fox, Chance, Rapha, cypher and more. The WoW section will feature lineups from teams such as SK, mousesports, compLexity, EG, and more.
All the action is set to begin tomorrow morning, so be sure to stay tuned as the teams and players vy to bring some championship hardware to the mousesports name.
