Counter-Strike

threat replaces Gux in fnatic

Written by mouz|benni at 06.01.2010 - 23:00

The Swedish Counter-Strike team fnatic splits up with Rasmus "Gux" Stahl, former H2k player Björn "threat" Pers replaces him in the new lineup for 2010. Thats what fnatic just announced on their website.

In January 2009 Gux joined fnatic and helped them to get back into business after having a big crisis. The reason for changing their roster right now seems to be internal problems. "Unfortunately, things don't always work out outside the game as they do in-game", fnatic explains in their news. So fromer H2k player Björn "threat" Pers joins the Swedish top team. His first official game will be next week at the Intel Extreme Masters European Finals in Cologne.

Björn "threat" Pers"It's a big honour for me to join the ranks of the currently best CS1.6 team in the world, FnaticMSI. We had an awesome time in China and I felt the chemistry between us was great. I think I will be able to bring some new positive energy and some awesome new tactics to the team. With this in mind, I think we will be able to be as successful as the team was in 2009!

A big thanks goes out to my new sponsors MSI, SteelSeries, Bigfoot Networks, SLAPPA and UGAME and a special thanks to H2k-Gaming! They did a great job during my stay and helped me out in finding a new organization!""

New lineup of fnatic:

Sweden Patrik "cArn" Sättermon
Sweden Harley "dsn" Orwall
Sweden Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg
Sweden Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund
Sweden Björn "threat" Pers
