MaNa to attend GSL in Korea

Written by René at 11.07.2012 - 10:32

Polish Protoss player and recent DreamHack Summer 2012 Champion Grzegorz "MaNa" Komincz will attend GSL Code S/A Up&Down matches in his stint in StarCraft's motherland. While it's planned to stay at least two months, MaNa could eventually extend his time in Korea.

"I want to try myself and lets see how well I can do there", MaNa posted yesterday on his official Facebook page. After his triumphant victory at DreamHack Summer 2012 and his rather unappealing performance at HomeStoryCup V, the young Polish Protoss is now ready to venture straight into his new project Korea. On August 10th, MaNa and his brother funkay, representing 4Kings, will travel to Korea and live and play in the GOM house together with GSL commentator Thomas "Khaldor" Kilian.

In addition, GOM TV also granted MaNa the possibility to attend the official GSL Code S/A Up&Down matches next season. For MaNa a dream came true, as he was willing to compete in the GSL from the beginning. Both MaNa aswell as mousesports are very grateful to GOM TV for giving a potent European Protoss the chance to fight for glory in one of the most anticipated StarCraft II leagues overall.

"I am looking forward to Korea overall, this should be the best experience for my life, not only the gaming one", MaNa said earlier today. Also his brother will be big help for him mentally and provides him with that needed little bit of home environment for the first time. "I want to enjoy my stay over there, no matter of my results I am already happy with just the possibility to go there."
