CSS Counter-Strike: Source

mouz dethrones VG, RattlesnK named MVP

Written by René at 20.04.2012 - 11:58

The mousesports Counter-Strike: Source team took over first place from long-time leader VeryGames in the official cadred.org CS:S Top 10 ranking. In addition, CS:S team captain Sam 'RattlesnK' Gawn named Most Valuable Player during Copenhagen Games 2012.

The well known e-sports web magazine cadred.org released their official Counter-Strike: Source March 2012 ranking today. With mousesports climbing three positions in total, they are claiming first place over Team VeryGames from France, who led the ranking for over a year. The Frenchmen who had a struggling performance at Copenhagen Games 2012, even overshadowed by their former player MK involved in a robbery crime, are dropping down to 110 points and are now officially the world's second best team according to cadred.org panelists. Currently leading is mousesports, crowned their first ever event appearance as a team with a Copenhagen Games 2012 Grand Championship about two weeks ago.

cadred.org CS:S March 2012 Ranking:

  1. United Kingdom mousesports (+3) - 132 points
  2. France Team VeryGames (-1) - 110 points
  3. Denmark Epsilon eSports (+2) - 102 points
  4. United Kingdom mTw (+3) - 101 points
  5. France Tt Dragons (-3) - 92 points
  6. Germany Alternate aTTaX (new) - 85 points
  7. Finland Finnish Royalty (-4) - 62 points
  8. Denmark Copenhagen Wolves (+-0) - 47 points
  9. Denmark Shark Gaming (new) - 40 points
  10. Germany logiX e.V. (new) - 20 points

In a community voting over on cadred.org, the CS:S fans around the world named our proud team captain Sam 'RattlesnK' Gawn as the Most Valuable Player during Copenhagen Games 2012, collecting 23% of all votes in the survey.  Runner up is former mousesports player Manuel 'mnL' Oberlein, now wearing the black-and-red jersey of Alternate aTTaX with 19% of all votes. The British CS:S pro player stated earlier, that winning in Copenhagen was only rivaled by his glorious CGS triumph with Birmingham Salvo back in 2008.
