Ever since the first Games Convention which took place back in 2002, the computer gaming exhibition has established itself as a renowned event. Because of steady growth and the expansion of the offerings, it comprises the complete spectrum of the lifestyle Gaming, today. Thus one can not only test the latest games or watch professional gamers taking on each other, but has also the possibility to camp on an exclusive site and visit concerts - that's the package a gamer needs.
Besides the usual programme of the exhibitors, this year also features several categories of different topics all of which related to playing on the computer. Above mentioned possibilities to camp on the exhibition site and visiting concerts is named GC Freestyle. Something completely different will be the gaming music concert of the FILMharmonic Prague Orchestra which will perform in the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig and interprete gaming music philharmonically.
Furthermore the exhibition boasts GC Best where the best producers and companies of the branche will be awarded and the official casemod championship. Whereas GC Family will try to connect gaming to normal life and disabuse prejudices toward games as a whole, GC Art is the perfect platform for everyone interested in making art with the computer such as Machinima or perfectly shaped 3D charakters.
